2011 My most memorable year!

I had so much fun doing this video in which I also learned new technology, downloading different types of music to be able to put it in my video in a different format.
Using the windows live media maker video technology I think would be wonderful for students as they can create their own. They will have fun and learn at the same time by adding their own pictures, music, videos, etc. Presentations would be more fun and exciting for everyone to see and their movies ideas and creations.

I think this will also be good for a lesson plan! Changing up things in the classroom sometimes helps the students stay focus and interested in the subject. I would make a video for the class lesson for them to watch and listen too rather than I, stand there and talk to them all day! I think is also good because we have another technology option which is fun and interesting.

Glogster website

This is the link to see my Glogster!

http://www.glogster.com/edit/g-6lkiscv2jg6r92rabaioba0

This was my first time using Glogster and it was fun! I think children 4th grade and up would be the perfect students to share it with. I would utilize this as a small project for them to do which can be used to share what they learned, share theirs views, questions, or thoughts. I think this program is a lot easier than Word and Paint because is used specifically for one thing.

How young is too young for technology?

How young is too young for technology?
Kids have always enjoyed watching TV, playing video games, talk on the phone with Grampa/ma who are far away but now days they like the live videos like using laptop with web cam to see their family and say hi.
Teenagers use to get cell phones but now days kids age 8 already have cell phones and notepads. Is this ok?
Can this slow down kids creativity?
What is the benefit?
Will they learn better with technology in the classrooms or make it worst?
